BIO
Dr. Clay Powelson
Dr. Clay Powelson Prior to completing his DMD at Nova Southeastern University in Florida, Dr. Powelson received his bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada. He grew up on a cattle ranch there and enjoyed working cows and the land with his family. To help pay for his schooling, Dr. Powelson worked for a construction company during the summers for several years and it is here that he learned to have an eye for detail and precision. Dr. Powelson believes great dentistry starts with understanding each patient’s unique needs and clearly explaining all treatment options. He prioritizes a comfortable, pain-free experience and has specialized training in gentle injection techniques to help patients feel at ease.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Powelson enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, boating, water sports, and dirt-biking. He loves helping others and is an active member of his church. Dr. Powelson is excited to live here in statesville and looks forward to meeting you and helping with your dental needs.

Dr. Benjamin Crawford
Dr. Benjamin Crawford graduated from Albion College in Michigan, where he played college baseball and obtained a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. Dr. Crawford then attended LECOM School of Dentistry to obtain his DMD. Dr. Crawford grew up in a small town in Michigan and spent most of his childhood playing sports and hanging out with his younger brother. Dr. Crawford looks forward to serving the community with the
utmost care through his patient-centered approach. He is passionate about giving his patients the smile they desire.
When Dr. Crawford is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 dogs. His hobbies include hiking, traveling, pickleball, and going out to eat. Dr. Crawford looks forward to meeting you and providing you and your family with the best dental care in the area.

We can treat a variety of traumatic dental injuries, including teeth that have been chipped, moved, or knocked out entirely
